Ivanka nació el 21.6.1966 en Bijakovići, parroquia de Medjugorje. Fue la primera que vio a la Virgen. Tuvo apariciones diarias hasta el 7 de mayo de 1985. Aquel día, después de confiarle el décimo secreto, la Virgen le dijo que durante toda su vida se le aparecería una vez al año - en el aniversario de la primera aparición, el 25 de junio. Ivanka está casada, tiene tres hijos, y vive con la familia en Medjugorje.
La intención de oración que la Virgen le confió, es: orar por la familia.

Ivanka Ivankovic: We regularly walked together in that area. We had been at my house; then we decided to take our walk.
