My date with the devil — in Medjugorje - June 8, 2013
By Louise Roseingrave
The body was thrashing; it took six men to control its charged strength. The crowd was praying feverishly in Italian, ‘Santa Maria, prega per noi.’ Those words now etched in my memory. I had gone with an open mind to Medjugorje, Bosnia Herzegovina, where Our Lady has been appearing to six visionaries for the past 32 years. But I wasn’t expecting to meet the devil.
I was wandering by St James’ Church, where millions of pilgrims attend beautiful masses and prayer services, when I stumbled upon an exorcism.
On a recent trip to Medugorje, I was lucky enough to go with a small group of Irish people to visit and attend Mass at the Home of St Joseph for the Elderly, a fifteen minute drive away. This is a residential home for fifty-one residents and has waiting list.
Marija Pavlovic Lunetti's involvement with Tomislav Vlasic and his "Queen of Peace" community -- same serious mistake as she did with “A Friend of Medjugorje” (Terry Colafrancesco) and Caritas of Birmingham - June 2, 2013
In the beginning of July 2012, Medjugorje visionary Marija Pavlovic Lunetti has once again visited so-called Caritas of Birmingham community for 5 days. Unfortunately, some uniformed, gullible and undiscerning people understand simply Marija’s Pavlovic Lunetti visits as an endorsement and validation of so called “Friend of Medjugorje” and group of his minions Caritas of Birmingham. But in fact, already since 1988 it became obvious that persons with connections to Marija Pavlovic Lunetti are definitely not necessarily credible, and some of them can even pose a serious threat for those, who might naively trust these persons.
Recently, we had received an e-mail from Judith Weible asking us to advertise Wayne Wieble's book Medjugorje: THE LAST APPARITION in our "web spage store" [sic]. Note: we do not have and never had any store and we do not sell or advertise anything. In the official description of the book Weible states that it is "a must read!" and that "underlying the story is the disclosure by the Mother of Jesus that she will never come to earth again in apparition".
Terry Colafrancesco: Medjugorje Cult Leader - January 27, 2013
By Regan Lee
In October of 2012, "JustinT" left the following comment on my post
Please do not link to Medjugorje com of "Friend of Medjugorje" / Caritas of Birmingham. The organisation is considered to be a cult, the priests of Medjugorje parish warned against them as well as Mother Angelica and EWTN.
Current date and time in Medjugorje : ,
From the beginning of Medjugorje apparitions in June 1981, Medjugorje (in Bosnia and Herzegovina, an Ex-Yugoslavia country) became an important source of God's grace and encouragement for faith for millions of people. Medjugorje Apparitions are not only grace for individuals and communities. Prayers and changed hearts of people - filled with love and peace, and humanitarian activities and projects influenced by Medjugorje without doubt help make this world a better place. Maybe more, than we would expect.
